Sarah N. Weinberger

Ms. Weinberger joined Kapoor Barristers as an associate in 2022.

Ms. Weinberger holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Indigenous Studies from Trent University, where she graduated at the top of her class. 

Ms. Weinberger earned her law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School. At Osgoode, Ms. Weinberger was a Senior Editor of the Journal of Law and Social Policy, and a clinic caseworker at the Community & Legal Aid Services Program and at Parkdale Community Legal Services. Ms. Weinberger also served as student duty counsel in the criminal courts in Kenora and the fly-in First Nations communities of Pikanjikum and Keewaywin. She received the Wendy Babcock Social Justice Award upon graduating from Osgoode in 2018.

Ms. Weinberger completed her articles at the Supreme Court of Canada, where she clerked for Justice Rowe.

Prior to joining Kapoor Barristers Ms. Weinberger worked as an associate for a well-regarded criminal defence firm where she had a busy appeals and trial practice, representing clients at all levels of Court in Ontario, the Ontario Review Board, and the Supreme Court of Canada.
